John Collins was Vicar of Holy Trinity Brompton from 1980 to 1985. He read theology at Cambridge, and was senior curate to John Stott at All Souls, Langham Place, for six years. He has served as Vicar in three parishes: St Mark’s Gillingham, Canford Magna, and HTB. For twenty years, he and his wife Diana trained lay teams in speaking and apologetics, and took them on mission to other parishes. John married Diana in 1955 and they have two children and six grandchildren.
