Prayer Ministry Training Manual

A training course which introduces the practices of prayer ministry
Prayer is communicating with God and is central both for the individual and the church’s relationship with God.

The Prayer Ministry Training Course is for anyone who wants to learn how to give and receive in this crucial area of ministry. The course was developed at Holy Trinity Brompton in 1999 to train existing home group leaders and members to pray for people in a home and church environment.

The course consists of three sessions which cover the theology of prayer ministry and suggest a simple model for anyone unfamiliar with this type of ministry. The three sessions are:

Theology
A basic model
Building on the basic model (parts one and two)
The following issues are covered:

Helping someone become a Christian
Praying for someone to be filled with the Holy Spirit
Praying for healing
Listening to God

This training manual includes bullet point notes which follow the video sessions and gives Bible references and key quotes from the sessions.
